The evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) over the last 70 years has definitely made an impact on our society. What began as an exploration of just problem solving and symbolic methods has evolved to mimicking humans and now robots, driverless vehicles, etc..
To me, AI will eventually replace most human jobs. The reason I say this is because they have already replaced many and will continue to do so as time goes on. And it is happening rapidly. Also, the fact that humans tend to miss details that computers/robots do not and will not. Then you got the fact that AI needs only to be taught things ONCE. Where humans need to be taught most things over and over and still will not get all details nor will they remember everything. Furthermore, it is ideal financially, for the company owners.
What I learned from the AI & Hotel Industry video is that artificial intelligence is taking over. Our lives were simple and easy, but today with modern technology rapidly growing our lives has been relying more and more on technology. The interaction with one another has become fewer and fewer, eventually, technology will eliminate face-to-face all together. Most, if not all humans will lose their jobs to an AI robot. The effect AI will eventually make in or before 2030 is astronomical, actually before 2030.
What I learned about AI & the Trucking Industry video is that there are not enough truck drivers to keep up with the number of deliveries needed to keep up with people’s demands and needs. This has made some companies turn to the idea of driverless trucks. With that, I believe that ALL truck drivers will eventually lose their jobs. I believe this will happen by 2030. And this will be devastating for the drivers and their families. There will be no career in that field because if they have driverless trucks, they will have AI robots in the office as well.
What I have learned from AI & the Farming Industry is that it will have the same effect as I have mentioned in both the AI & Hotel Industry and AI & the Trucking Industry. This world will eventually be run by artificial intelligence in every way. Society as we know it will be DOMED, possibly before 2030. My career? By then my career will be taken over by robots.
The types of technologies/services that I envision seeing related to AI will be as I have stated above. Technology will be the future, in fact, it is already but it will worsen and I fear what and how people will deal with it. Not only deal with it but how interaction with humans will eventually be at a bare minimum. The reason I say this is because look at how AI is already replacing our jobs, eventually they will replace us as well. People will become more and more depressed, suicidal, violent, and I am sure unheard of behaviors will evolve.
Then you have the way our food is being made and rushed, which makes me think that it has something to do with this present crisis, the coronavirus. There is a reason for me to believe that because before when things were raised naturally we did not have all these diseases. With all the alterations that scientists and certain farmers are rushing production and scientists are genetically duplicating DNA in/for many things, I believe it has doomed humans.
As far as technology goes, AI will take over everything and everyone!!!
